Eating well does not have to get sidelined during these tough economic times. You will not have to spend a lot of money to make these delicious recipes and they can be incorporated into your weight loss plan.




For dinner enjoy Asparagus Lasagna with Spring Green Salad

Asparagus Lasagna - 343 calories, 14 grams of fat, 31 grams carbs, 3 grams fiber (analyzed with low-fat cheeses)
Modifications - eliminate the Canadian bacon, cut back on the amount of cheese used, use whole wheat lasagna noodles.

Spring Green Salad - 103 calories, 9 grams fat, 6 grams carbs, 2 grams fiber
Modifications - don't use all the dressing on your salad. Measure out a tablespoon or two or use the "fork method" to use dressing.
